It's a little early for the spooky season,
but the spiders in one part of the world have already decorated.
The Sorek Creek in the mountains of Jerusalem looked somewhat enchanted
after spiders have woven thick webs throughout the trees and other vegetation.
The creek reportedly contains treated sewage,
which provides ample nutrients for a large mosquito population.
Those mosquitoes are prey for long jawed spiders known as Tetragnatha.
It takes millions of them to create scenery like this.
However, the webs will disappear when the spiders do.
That happens at the end of summer when the mosquitoes die off and they lose their source of food.
In the middle of that circle of life, we get a few weeks of enchanted forest to marvel at.
