New drone footage shot in Southeastern Morocco reveals rare flooding in the Sahara Desert.
Rain is not unheard of in this part of the Sahara
but occurs at a rate of just a few inches a year.
Morocco's meteorology agency told AP in early October
that it's been "30 to 50 years" since they've experienced this much rainfall.
The Sahara is the world's largest non-polar desert,
stretching across 3.6 million square miles.
