A pizza place in the UK is making a statement about their feelings on a certain controversial pizza topping.
We very much, I would say vehemently, dislike pineapple on pizza.
We feel like it doesn't suit pizza at all, and we're not really sure why it's a thing.
Much to their chagrin, Lupa Pizza in Norwich
will still serve you a so-called Hawaiian pizza,
but it's going to cost you big.
100 British pounds or about 125 dollars US.
Pineapple and pizza is wrong.
That should not be done.
100% I wouldn't pay for that.
I mean, it's not awful.
It would probably be like my second favorite under pepperoni.
The restaurant conducted a poll on social media,
with customers split 50/50 on whether pineapple is an acceptable pizza topping.
They say no one has ordered the Hawaiian pizza since the price changed.
As much as some people like it, apparently it's not enough to shell out that kind of money.
