John Tenniswood, once dubbed the oldest living man, has died.
You either live long or you live short, and you can't do much about it.
In the same year that the Titanic sank, John Tenniswood was born in Liverpool, England.
During World War II, Tenniswood served in the Royal Army Pay Corps,
where he worked in accounts and logistics.
He met his wife, Blodwin, in 1942 at a dance,
which sparked a 44 year marriage before her death.
Whether you're learning something, or whether you're teaching someone, give it all you've got. Otherwise it's not worth bothering with.
Tenniswood's advice for longevity was simple:
If you don't eat too much, and so long as you exercise both the brain and the body, you should keep them young.
His family says he passed away surrounded by music and love.
He leaves behind a daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
John Tenniswood was 112 years old.
