The battle is officially over after eight years.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have finally settled their bitter divorce.
Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.
Angelina Jolie's lawyer tells Inside Edition: She and Brad Pitt filed for divorce way back on September 19, 2016,
citing "irreconcilable differences".
Jolie claimed Pitt was abusive to her and their children during the two year marriage.
No charges were ever filed, and he denied the allegations.
She has asked for physical custody of their six kids.
So why did it take so long?
Well, at stake was how to split their reported 520 million dollar fortune.
Most assets will be divided according to the prenup.
Both parties have long since moved on romantically.
Pitt is dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon.
His ex has been linked to British rapper Akala
and has been busy promoting her latest film, Maria.
